What does a Garden Consultant do?
A Garden Consultant provides garden maintenance services, design, and advice about anything in your garden – it may be a simple list of questions or a completely new garden or renovation of an old one. I’m will be your coach as well as your personal cheerleader in your garden.
How I can help you improve your garden
I can show you how to decorate with indoor plants, improve your pathway to a more sustainable lifestyle by helping you to plan and create your organic veggie garden, or even just create a beautiful outdoor space using carefully chosen plants.
I’m your go-to girl for advice about what plants will work best at your place and where you should place them taking account of our challenging gardening environment. I can also help you with advice about the right soil improvement practices and the correct watering regime.
I source plants from all over Western Australia and I can work with you to create a stunning new garden or renovate your old one-no challenge too great for me!
I can project manage your new or renovated garden from start to finish.
I can also take care of your garden maintenance requirements. You may like us to work in your garden each month maybe every three months or a big clean-up – it’s really up to you. I am very busy in July and August during the rose-pruning season so it’s always best to make a booking ahead of time.
I’m a Writer too
As a Freelance Writer, I’ve both written and provided images for gardening magazines all over Australia and currently write for Hort Journal, a national industry-based magazine. I have written as a guest blogger and articles for GardenComm International’s award-winning member magazine ‘On The QT’.

I am available for Public Speaking and can spin a pretty good yarn. If you would like to book me in for your next function, just let me know.

Garden Consultation – including notes: $320
This service takes about an hour of your time as we walk through your garden plus the time after we meet for me to write up our conversation and put it into a workable plan which either you can use to implement yourself or I can project manage it for you.
Following our on-site meeting, I will write up our conversation and help you out with an easy to follow “action plan” to get you started.
