My garden as with most gardeners gardens is a work in progress, it’s ever-changing which goes with the territory I guess. There’s always room for one more plant, I say…

I experiment with plants in different spots to see if they would work in my clients’ gardens and if they look good in my garden and grow well they stay…. otherwise out they go.

“A garden should make you feel you’ve entered privileged space — a place not just set apart but reverberant — and it seems to me that, to achieve this, the gardener must put some kind of twist on the existing landscape, turn its prose into something nearer poetry.”

Michael Pollan, Second Nature: A Gardener’s Education
